Chaining Factors (ɑ) – Rollers For Chain Driven Conveyors

Chaining Factors ( ɑ ) – Rollers For Chain Driven Conveyors

Chaining Factor Formula

l  = increment due to every chain loop, variable from 0.01 to 0.03 depending on the lubrication status.

Using l  as 0.02 mean value, the table below indicates the values of Chaining Factors  ɑ  in relation to the actual number of looped rollers n2.

In case of a central positioned command, n2 should be half of the total number of rollers employed.
